Continuing Education Units (CEUs)

The Georgia Safety Conference is committed to supporting the professional development of safety and health professionals. Many of the educational sessions offered throughout the conference may be eligible for Continuing Education Units (CEUs) or professional development credits, depending on your certifying organization’s requirements.

However, the Georgia Safety Conference does not approve, endorse, assign, or submit CEUs or professional credits on behalf of attendees. Each participant is responsible for determining eligibility, tracking session attendance, and submitting documentation directly to their certification or licensing body.

Certifying organizations include:

  • Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP)
  • American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP)
  • American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA)
  • Other professional licensing or credentialing organizations

To support attendees:

  • Educational session details, learning objectives, and duration are published in the conference agenda.
  • Attendance verification or certificates of participation may be made available for personal record‑keeping purposes.
  • Attendees are responsible for retaining all documentation required by their credentialing organization.

Eligibility, credit type, and submission requirements vary by certification and by organization. Attendees are strongly encouraged to review the continuing education requirements of their specific credential(s) prior to the conference and to maintain personal records for reporting.

Important Notes

The Georgia Safety Conference does not sign, certify, or validate CEU forms from certifying bodies.
