Description of workshop: This workshop will (1) Dispel myths about marijuana (2) Address what business trends are shaping the way that businesses owners are responding to marijuana use/abuse? (3) Discuss what is being sold verses what is legal in Georgia? (4) Examine considerations that employers should take when deciding how to deal with marijuana use?

This workshop is designed to help learners:

To understand that having a plan to deal with marijuana use/abuse will have a large payoff long term4. Learn about additional resources which are available

1. Summarize why it is important for businesses to champion substance abuse prevention efforts. 2. Describe the current state of marijuana in the state of Georgia.3. Describe the pros/cons of removing marijuana from company drug tests.
